RedETS exists

Spain's 2026 health-tech assessment agenda is live, and 43 technologies are on it.

RedETS (Red Española de Agencias de Evaluación de Tecnologías Sanitarias) is the network, coordinated by Spain's Ministry of Health, that assesses medicines, devices, diagnostics and procedures to inform what the National Health System funds, how it's used, and what gets phased out.

Why it matters for manufacturers: RedETS works on a principle of mutual recognition, so a single assessment can shape patient access across all of Spain's regions, not just one. The 2026 Work Plan spans 43 HTA reports across infection and AMR, neonatal and metabolic screening, telemedicine and chronic care, medical devices, mental health, and more.

All 43 are currently in development, which means the window to understand the process and engage is open now.
